Floating Home Typology

Affordable-to-build Student Housing is possible! Scandinavia, Seattle, Portland, and many other countries use little used ports and marinas to build thoughtful student apartments, affordable homes for families and even luxury homes that can help make the project feasible. Danish and Dutch students pay an average of $800/mo for beautiful apartments on the water, and we can dramatically bring costs down too. Floating homes are the preferred housing type for many people at every income level.

An average renter family has a net worth of $5,000 meanwhile a homeowner with similar income has $300,000 (FHLB). Humans have been perfecting the art and science of living on the water for eons. Sea Villages has partnered with the world’s leading Marine Architectural and Engineering firms to incorporate the latest in Hydrotech advancements. Our Dutch partners at Water Studio use the latest in geothermal heating and cooling, combined with solar and batteries; allowing entire projects to become net zero. With advanced redundant double piping and negative pressure, industrial hygiene vacuum sanitary systems, we now can guarantee a pollution free community, allowing humans to live in harmony with nature.

Climate Resilience

Sea Villages are climate friendly, sustainable and thoughtfully executed. In fact, floating homes around the world may be the only buildings that are resilient sea level rise. Using inert materials, each engineered floating home communities will stand the test of time and are sustainable and recyclable, as well as transportable to any city needed. 100% renewable heat and hot water supply with hydrothermal heating and cooling and inverter power generation offset
100% renewable electricity with Photovoltaic and Wind generation

100% wastewater and organic waste treatment using Flovac negative pressure vacuum systems.

100% water self-sufficiency with water runoff in catch basins and atmospheric water generation and salt desalination possible.

60 – 80% nutrient recovery with floating greenhouses are added within the floating children’s parks.

60 – 70% vegetable & fruit production using locally recovered nutrients
